Youth Apprenticeship Week is an annual celebration that highlights the importance of apprenticeship as a pathway for people aged 16-24 to launch successful careers. During this week, the National Institute for Innovation and Technology™, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL), showcases the success stories of youth apprentices, the support of their employers, and the significant impacts on our industries and communities. Visit their website here: YAW | NIIT
We would like to participate in this week by highlighting the local high schools who are currently participating in our IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program! We have roughly 100 students enrolled from the following schools:
- Burrell High School
- Blackhawk High School
- Keystone Oaks High School
- Laurel Highlands High School
- Sto-Rox High School
- Quaker Valley High School
These students are taking an important step to their future careers whether it be directly into the manufacturing industry or other related industries. We are proud of them! 👏
