Explore the New Manufacturing’s goal is for middle school and high school students in Southwestern Pennsylvania to have meaningful interactions with manufacturing professionals, hands-on experiences in manufacturing facilities, and collect an abundance of knowledge on manufacturing in the area to encourage them to explore and see manufacturing as a possible career option for themselves.
Last year Explore the New Manufacturing served 35 school districts across 12 counties and approximately 700 students.
Explore the New Manufacturing programs are continuously improving and innovating new ways to peak student interest in manufacturing careers
Every Explore the New Manufacturing program includes interactions with professionals currently in the manufacturing industry
All Explore the New Manufacturing programs are free for schools to participate
We work with companies and schools across the 12 counties of Southwestern Pennsylvania including: Armstrong, Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington, Westmoreland.
