Students from Blackhawk High School had the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom with an exciting visit to Adams Manufacturing as part of our IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program with Mr. Linkenheimer’s class.
During the tour, students got an up-close look at Adams Manufacturing’s operations, which specialize in producing high-quality resin furniture, suction cups, and other plastic products. They learned about the company’s advanced manufacturing processes, from material selection and molding to quality control and distribution.
This hands-on experience gave students valuable insight into modern manufacturing, helping them connect classroom concepts with real-world applications. By seeing these processes in action, they gained a better understanding of potential career paths in the industry and the importance behind the curriculum they are taking through MSSC.
Opportunities like this are what make our IMT Pre-Apprenticeship Program so valuable—allowing students to explore careers, develop skills, and prepare for the future.
Great job to our Blackhawk Pre-Apprentices for taking this step in their manufacturing journey!
