Today Catalyst Connection conducted an Advanced Additive Workshop apart of our Industry 4.0 Teacher Academy. Hosted at Pittsburgh Technical College and in partnership with The Consortium for Public Education, this workshop explored the transformative power of additive manufacturing!
Led by Pittsburgh Technical College instructors, participants delved into the world of additive manufacturing, gaining insights into its history and modern applications. Through hands-on sessions, educators experimented with 3D printers and software, equipping them with practical skills to integrate this technology into their teaching. This workshop exemplified collaboration, showcasing the synergy between Catalyst Connection, Pittsburgh Technical College, and The Consortium for Public Education. By bridging academia and industry, participants were immersed in a holistic learning experience.
The day culminated in a tour of Neighborhood 91, a new additive manufacturing hub. Here, educators witnessed the future of manufacturing firsthand, amidst cutting-edge facilities and collaborative environments.
