We are incredibly proud to share that Somerset Area Junior High School, representing Pittsburgh East region, brought home third place at the 7th Annual What’s So Cool About Manufacturing Statewide Awards in Harrisburg, PA!
Out of 167 middle school teams across Pennsylvania and 23 regional finalists, Somerset tied for third place with their fantastic video spotlighting Four Guys Fire Trucks. Their video showcased not only the power of teamwork and storytelling but also highlighted the exciting career opportunities in modern manufacturing and the impact this company makes on their community.
The awards ceremony, held at the Whitaker Center on May 14, 2025, brought together students, educators, and industry leaders to celebrate innovation, creativity, and career exploration. We’re thrilled to see a Pittsburgh East team shine on the state stage!
